I must say that it arrived intact, albeit on 2 different days. (I have no idea why.) There is absolutely no way one person could assemble this in less than 6 hours. I know, I tried. It looks good, however the right door panel is off kilter and the hinge holes were placed in such a way that the right door is lower than the left. Consequently you can see the magnetic latch (about 1/2") at the top of the right side. In my opinion it is cheaply made. The back is bi-fold and the two pieces are held together with some kind of heavy duty tape. It has a tendency to rock forward, even with books inside. It comes with an attachment so that you can hook it to your wall to stabilize it. At first I wondered why, but after assembly I understood. I love the looks of it but I wouldn't buy it again. I have purchased other furniture on the net that comes pre-assembled and those items are sturdier than this--and cheaper.
